This video connects to my topic because they show images about how children do not have enough food in their plates and the way they live.
_My
issue is about child hunger, it’s an economic problem because children do not have enough foodto eat or get because of how poor the places where they live at. The poorest countries are those in the periphery.
They include most of sub-Saharan Africa and South and East Asia. They are
extremely poor, average income per person was about $500 per year, compared to
over $20,000 per year in the United States (“urban problem in perspective”).
The low income they get affects the whole family but mostly the children
because they are the ones that get harm more because their body can’t handle it
so much as an a adult. Africa is one of the poorest countries that exist. In
Africa they have a poor distribution of food. Many people at Africa suffer
because of that poor distribution. Africa lacks the economic to sustain a
healthy life. “The World Bank estimates that if the world pattern of slow
economic growth and rising inequality that characterized the 1990s continues,
the number of people in absolute poverty will remain essentially unchanged
through 2015” (“urban problem in perspective”). If this situation do not change and the economic do not change
Africa would have the same problem if the economic do not change at all.
Children would keep on suffering and dying. These countries remain poor because
the rich countries like the United States do not help the poor countries like
Africa. “All of the countries of the third world have been attempting to
modernize” they are seeking to raise their average standard of living through
industrialization and agricultural improvements.” However, most remain dismally
poor by the U.S standards . (“urban problem in perspective”). Economic is the main issue the big issue
we could say why child hunger exist specialy in places like Africa where they
have low qualities. There multiple perspectives in this situation people say
that it is the economic that make this children die in hunger and suffer for not
having money to eat. But also people claim that countries like the United
States do not let them grow or be better or don’t help at all. “These countries
remain poor because the rich countries like the United States do not help the
poor countries like Africa” (“urban problem in perspective”).
